Aside from the bubbling when it should be smooth (which is my fault), I am not impressed with this mold. It took 3 candles to get this one to keep its shape. All the others were oblong, I had to go back a couple times while the wax was settling and squish the candle back into a proper shape.

I have this same mold from Temu and was happy to have the chance to try it from Amazon as well. The mold that I received arrived clean and undamaged and it is a soft, flexible silicone that is easy to unmold.The mold that I received is identical to my Temu mold in every way. The details are crisp and the soft, flexible silicone is easy to clean with packing tape. I am happy with the quality of the mold. It is translucent enough that if you wanted to, you could use UV resin in the mold. I'm mainly using it for resincrete and epoxy, but sometimes I add details with UV resin to molds before doing the main pour and I like that the option is available.

I understand that designing and making silicone molds is a bit of a balancing act. On one hand, you want something that's flexible enough to de-mold easily. On the other, it also needs to be rigid enough that any design it's supposed to leave in the finished product retains its definition, and so the mold stands on its own. This succeeds on the former count better than the latter; demolding was easy (and, to be fair, the design mostly retained its definition), but there's also a bit of a noticeable wobble where I was continually afraid it'd fall over before the wax had hardened. While I like the design, the construction is such that I don't know if I'd chance this brand again.

I'm hopeful this mold works well for my project. I got it because it was a fun and sort of modern/funky design and I was thinking my daughter and I could try our hand at candle-making over the holidays- perhaps to create some homemade gifts. We're total novices, but to my untrained eyes and hands, the silicone seems soft and stretchy. I am banking on that meaning it will be relatively easy to remove the candle when it is set. We're excited to give it a try in any case. If we encounter any problems, I'll update this review!

This is a really neat looking small candle mold. I love the pattern - very unique. Easy to use, good quality and no issues with leaking. Overall happy to have this mold in my collection!
