I have the same issue as several others have reported. The new riser and check valves not the same as the old. You get no water flow through the check valves. I reinstalled the old riser and everything works.

I got this to fix my 647-CP kitchen faucet. I disassembled the tap, removed the old spacer and inserted the new. I should note as well that there is only one way to install this spacer. I put it all back together and had no water flow what-so-ever. Disassembling again and removing the new spacer I compared it to the old and the the images in the listing. The photo attached show the original spacer on the left, new on the right. Compared to the listing it has three valves fitted in the spacer, not one valve as shown in the listing. When compared to my old spacer, one of the valves was inserted backwards. This is why there was no water flow. Not what you'd expect from Kohler.

Others have commented on this issue where the outlet check valve is installed in reverse. It can be removed and installed correctly if you are careful and have the patience to deal with it instead of going through a return process. The picture online also incorrectly displays the part (it only shows the reversed outlet check valve and the hot/cold check valves are missing. Can be a frustrating experience if you are simply attempting to replace a part and get operational again. The other postings are appreciated in this feedback section.BTW, the supplier (North Shore Faucets Inc.) responded that they are simply passing along the Kohler part and takes no responsibility for its condition (including the picture that is incorrectly posted). They suggested I contact Kohler, but I requested that they contact Kohler as a supplier in hopes Kohler pays more attention to them than just an individual.Posting these comments to let others know what to look out for when they look to this purchase for a solution.

As someone else mentioned several years ago, I had to flip the output valve. There was no water flow after installation of this part so I had to disassemble the tap and flip the valve. I should have read all the reviews.

Product was a replacement as I didn't know exactly what my issue was, it's all new I dought it will cause any issues anytime soon. If your a DIY, it is very simple, remove the old piece and insert new in the pre-made holes and done.

These came with the check valves but two of them where installed backwards. Luckily I noticed and flipped them. Fixed my leak perfectly.

Like the one star reviewer here, mine was shipped with the outlet valve in the incorrect position, which caused me to have to disassemble and figure out why the water wasn't flowing. Took all of 5 seconds to remove the incorrectly inserted valve, flip it around and put back in. Another 2 minutes to reassemble the faucet and viola! Water.

I had a leaky faucet handle and found this is the spacer listed on Kohler's site that would fit my faucet.I took apart the faucet and saw that the three valves in the current spacer were clogged up.Looking at the pictures of others who have purchased this part, you see 3 valves.But when the part arrived, I was disappointed that there is only 1 check valve installed on this spacer.The spacer I am replacing has 3 valves.Another listing on Amazon shows these tiny check valves are $12 each.So factor that in if you are planning to replace the spacer and valves.

easy to install-fit perfectly-no problems- get the cartridge that goes with this and clean the inside of the faucet good and grease it like the instructions says to. works perfect
