I searched through Amazon for a different alternative to my cabinet. Latching needs and found these spring loaded latches that kept attention on my cabinet door. I use the smaller version for another application and ordered these to fit a different Nied and they worked out great easy to install, and stainless steel to boot

These are very large and heavy duty. Easy to install in wood. You could even add a pad lock. Great value for great quality.
