When you’re trying to tackle the annoying issue of white balance, this blue lighting film works wonderfully. As someone who's quite particular about photography, I often find my product shots leaning towards an irritating yellow hue. This film easily corrects that by balancing out the light naturally. It's large enough to cover most lights, and cutting it to size with a pair of scissors is straightforward. Even my son, who’s just 10, was fascinated by how quickly we could transform the lighting in our living room for his makeshift studio. I opted for the half-blue variant thinking it would be subtle, but even that turned out bluer than expected – perhaps the quarter blue would suffice next time. One must handle it cautiously to avoid any creases. Although I initially thought it a bit pricey, the time saved in post-editing makes it a worthy investment for any aspiring photographer.

LEE Filters 203 Quarter Colour Temperature Blue on a Compact Roll which is 2ft Wide. Perhaps Lee Filters has been listening to consumers demands for larger sized filter. I have a pack of filters that are squares roughly 1ft size and it does a great job but sometimes you want to hang a gel in front of a larger light source but there was no alternative for small consumers just like myself who do photography for creativity and fun.All Gel filters are mostly made of Polyester or polycarbonate materials that looks and feels like plastic but is heat resistant and can stand high temperature produced by Strobes or continuous lights. This Roll is Lee Filters new addition to wide range of Gel Filters produced here in United kingdom 🇬🇧. Lee Filters needs no introduction as if you are in photography/Videography business, you would know them. Lee is market leading brand and I do product and portrait photography using the Filters for consistency of property exposed white balance photos. My Godox lights are great but every unit have small variation and I can not allow to have inconsistent photos hence these Lighting Gel for Warm light to cool. When I bought 1st pack I went for full CTB but over the years I have learnt that Full and even Half CTB are too much hence when I was offered this filter role, I chose 1/4 which is great for just slightly toning down the warm tungsten lights for product photography. These are manufactured in UK 🇬🇧 and are known for their quality. I am thrilled with this role and it will open up new possibilities for me when lighting a large source of light.

On set, it's important to attain the correct temperature for your lighting! This roll of lighting gel helps do just that! If you need to create a daylight look to your lighting effect, this roll of gel helps turn your tungsten lighting to daylight. As with all LEE filters, you get a lot on the roll to refine and cut down for your specific needs! the gel itself once cut can last a really long time. So if you take care of the product it'll definitely be a worthwhile investment.
