I figured for $70 this thing must be something special. I was not disappointed. It’s beautiful and simple on the surface. The bulb will spin for a very long time in mid air, if you want. There’s even a cute little power button that turns the light off and on without collapsing the hovering function - which is powered independently from the hovering itself. Amazing product.

This levitating lamp is an absolute gem! I placed it on my bookcase as a decorative piece, and it instantly became the center of attention. The floating bulb effect is magical and gives off a warm, ambient glow. It adds a touch of futuristic charm without being over the top. Everyone who sees it compliments it — it’s truly a conversation starter. Sleek, modern, and beautifully crafted. Highly recommended for anyone looking to elevate their space!

This is a really cool product and works well as ambiance lighting. If it was up to me it would have some (even) dimmer light settings, like pushing power "button" (area, it is just a sticker) several times would cycle through off, 1/3, 1/2/ 2/3 and full lighting for example. And I also wish you could chose for it to not spin. But it is exactly as cool as I expected it to be, just talking for what would make the product even better, beyond expectation and, perhaps, possibility

Physically the base weighs a hefty 19.5 oz on a beam balance scale. It feels solid. The bulb is 3.5 oz. Each unit contains a very strong permanent magnet. My magnetometer measured the total electric field 60 mm away from the devices with the base reading 30 Gauss, and the bulb reading 23 Gauss. (Closer than 60 mm apart overloaded my magnetometer). A junk box magnetic coil connected to a spectrum analyzer picked up a 181.5 kHz "clean" component with harmonics at least 40 dB down. An oscilloscope shows a dominant 3.22 MHz sine wave. The performance is very stable. One can tap the bulb in action and it will smooth out and remain levitating. There is an on/off capacitance switch to turn the bulb on and off, although I leave mine on. The bulb stays levitated regardless if the light is on or off. I find it fun to play around with the switch. The unit comes with a 12 Volt 1.0 Amp Max wallwart, so the total power draw from the wall is probably less than 10 Watts.During usage I had a power fail, and by design the bulb will stay on the platform after it falls. There is no danger of it rolling off the base onto the floor. I have designed and built several optical levitators before, but they had a tendency to "fall" if a room light was switched on or off. This product's design doesn't rely on light beams, just magnetic fields. I find it interesting that the eddy currents don't stop the bulb from rotating. After I spin it, it never seems to stop. When it does stop, it may slowly change to the other direction, and switch directions with whatever forces spin it- air currents, infrared, my dog farting, whatever. Nice product.

Been using it regularly for a while, it gives a candle like ambiance with a retro but modern look.Pros- price is fair, no heat, brightness is perfect for ambiance but do not expect to use it as a lamp, the power sticker on the front peels right off without leaving residue, is completely silent even putting my ear right up to it, my dog likes to check it out occasionally bumping his nose on it and it wobbles but stays floating, power has gone out multiple times and its magnetic base catches it.Cons- Theres not a true functional purpose, as other reviews said you do have to have a skilled hand for placing it on the magnet. If its at dog nose level you will be wiping nose prints off it occasionally. Getting nitpicky i with the base size was a tad smaller. Its always an eye catcher if you want to spend this much on a small decor piece

This levitating bulb lamp is an absolute conversation starter and a beautiful addition to any space! The magnetic floating mechanism is pure magic—it feels like something out of a sci-fi movie. Watching the bulb effortlessly float and spin in mid-air never gets old, and the warm LED light creates a cozy ambiance, perfect for a desk or nightstand.Beyond its stunning design, the lamp is surprisingly functional. The lighting is gentle on the eyes, making it ideal for reading or working. Setting it up was easier than I expected, and the quality feels premium with a sturdy base and seamless floating effect. If you're looking for a unique and stylish piece that combines technology with aesthetic appeal, this levitating bulb lamp is a must-have. It’s not just a lamp—it’s art that lights up your room! Please notice that bulb will not levitate if power is not applied - it will drop to the pedestal. So best mode of operation if you want to switch it off - take bulb from the air first.

Quite heavy . A little difficult to balance at first using magnetic fields involved.
