Look at the price. It works well enough for what it is. The white lights are on all the time, so if you have laws about white lighting facing rear then you'll have to cover the lights.

Out of the box, the physical properties of the frame are solid. The camera appears to be durable, and the overall feel of the everything is sturdy.I swapped out an existing camera that I had gotten for free when I upgraded my head unit. It was one of those cube cameras, and was bolted off to one side of the plate.This frame was a simple install. I screwed it in, Unplugged my old working camera, and just plugged in this one. Unfortunately the image I got back was terrible. It appears to be 3 images stacked on top of each other, and was so grayscale. I swapped the wires back to the old one, and it worked perfect. Tried the frame camera, and got the same thing.... i went ahead and ordered a replacement, so will update this when it comes in....Side note: if you have a hard time seeing microscopic Allen screws, then avoid this. The ones supplied to secure the camera from twisting are very very small.And the supplied bolts were too long to actually use and mount anything.....

The install is relatively simple, minimal splicing and the image is very clear. The night vision is good, it lacks color, but it is still clear and easy to see. Everything seems to be good quality for the price!

Some state laws state that the state name can not be covered. So I had to redrill holes the adjust the license plate. Then some other wiring issues. YouTube University will help with the installation. All in all a very good upgrade for your vehicle if you want a camera.
