OK I had to come here to leave a review because most people here don't know how to replace their Gear and sprocket replacement kit. I asked a few questions and no one could tell me what I wanted so here is what I will tell you. This item is a complete gear repair kit and does come with all parts to replace everything needed to rebuild the gears for the the door opener. I have included pictures hope it helps others that have questions. Just know if you don't use all the parts in the kit it's ok it is your decision to do so. However ask yourself this why did you purchase this kit? When you purchase front brake pads for your car do you do both sides or just one side this is the same thing. The kit contains all parts you should replace. Any questions just ask.

Not a hard fix. Took a bit of time, and be sure to wear gloves and work over a big piece of cardboard. It’s messy/greasy work, but far cheaper than having to buy a whole new unit!
