Had a garage door opener drive belt break, a repair man came out and took it apart only to tell me he didn't have the right sized belt so he left everything unassembled but he took essential parts I needed to repair it myself. I had to order this kit just to get the tension bolt out of it.It worked out perfectly for the Chamberlain Liftmaster, Professional Formula 1 garage door opener, on a 7ft garage door. Now the garage is fixed and it only cost me this and what I paid for a new drive belt. Instead of $350 to a repairman.

I opened the box and saw that there were no instructions. Pulled up the manual online and saw how the rail went on and the spring loaded nut and started by unscrewing the spring loaded nut. Then removed the bolt that attached to the rail as a stop to the trolley. Then removed the two bolts holding the rail to the motor. I twisted the plate attached to other end of the belt and lifted it off the trolley as it was still in good condition. Removed the arm attached to the garage. Lifted the rail off the motor and slid the trolley off the end of the rail. Slid the new trolley on and attached the 'other end plate' onto the trolley. Restored the nuts holding the rail on the motor and the bolt thru a rail hole. Removed the old threaded shaft as it was not fitting thru the trolley hole. Attached the new one with the supplied chain links. Fitted thru the hole and threaded the spring loaded nut to hand tight (this was using one hand on the threaded shaft and the other on the spring loaded nut). Placed a screwdriver on the spring retaining washer and turned the nut until the spring was freed. Reattached the garage door arm and then was ready for testing. Took less than an hour.

My slide broke initially and this kit had everything I needed. It was easy to swap out the broken components. Had the garage door fixed in 30 min. Loved this kit. Simple and straight fwd.

Item arrived well packaged with all the hardware needed for the installation. Fit was good and installation was easy. Hint, go to YouTube to find illustrative instructions will help your install if you are not the handy type. Simple tools needed to install and will save you money as you won't have to pay a professional to fix your door. As compare to tension spring, this is an easier repair. Use a clamp to hold the belt or chain in place throughout your repair so you don't have to reset upper/lower limits of the opener when you are done.
