Received my LE welding jacket. Looks beautiful! I find the jacket is a bit big on me. To get the chest size I needed I had to go with the bigger size. I am 5'7" and about 190 pounds. I know it is not a custom fit jacket. I still love it. Haven't had the chance to weld with it yet.

The Jacket fits well, just like any jacket or equipment piece it's fit is not for 1,000% comfort there is a requirement to protect the user and it does it well. Would I buy it again...YES I WOULD. Does it make my welding any better...nothing will do that but it does protect me and that's what matters. Hope this helps folks and word to the wise order it a wee bit bigger, this allows for thicker under garments in the cold weather and a bit of air flow in the summer months.

Perfect jacket. Just as expected. It's heavy, of course...it's leather! But it's actually lighter than expected. Fit was amazing. I was afraid it would be tight, but it fit well and the ability to move my arms amazed me. There was no restriction at all. I love this jacket.

Really nice, thick, heavy jacket for welding. Great for overhead, flexible enough for out of position welding. A bit heavy for use in warm weather, but I guess that's just what we have to deal with if you don't want to get burnt. Great fit and really nice feel. Quality I expect from Lincoln.

I ordered this in a XXXL due to conflicting reviews regarding size and I wanted to be able to move in this jacket as well as wear a heavier jacket underneath it for cold winter welding and have it looser for air circulation in the summer. This jacket is very heavy thick leather. It would be better to be lined with something slick like nylon or rayon inside the sleeves and across the shoulders. I say this because this leather grabs your clothes like a magnet and is difficult to slip on and off. It could also use a 4" to 6" slit up the sides so if you squat down or sit it wont pop the bottom snaps. I love the snaps on the sleeve cuffs. I was somewhat surprised that there weren't any pockets for markers on the thing anywhere. Heavy leather like this means great protection from slag and will also be a great asset for angle grinding material. Superb jacket even without the things I previously mentioned. If the stitching holds, this should be the last welding coat I ever need. Just wish they had a lower front apron to match. Then welders could be stylish also!

This is a good jacket (not too heavy and not too light). I usually ware a medium but when ordering on line I am never quite sure about the fit. This was sized correctly and looks great. This is a slim fit so if you have a gut I would not recommend or try a larger size. I received many comments that it looks good on me. The jacket should last a long time. It was worth the few extra dollars.The only reason I did not give it five stars is because of the pocket. The pocket is on the inside lower left and it is difficult to reach into with my right hand. Not sure what to do about it but just say it could have been better thought out. A pencil pocket on the sleeve would also be handy because I have no place to put my pencil or a marking tool.

This jacket is impressive, fits true to size. The leather is very high quality. I've always preferred Lincoln Electric products over the competition, from welders to equipment. This does not disappoint, it was obviously designed with the welder in mind. The sleeves adjust (with snaps) to be worn over or under gauntlet style gloves, the front buttons are heavy duty, the collar can be worn up or down. Easily worth the money for the quality you receive.
