I bought these socket organizers to better manage my collection of sockets, and I was so impressed that I ended up purchasing another set. They appear to be very well constructed, and the magnetic strip on the bottom keeps everything securely in place. The magnets are strong enough to attach to the side of your toolbox, allowing you to even place the ½” sockets there. However, the deep well sockets tend to lean down, and I'm uncertain if they might fall out; fortunately, I don't need them on the side of my box.

This magnetic socket organizer exceeded my expectations. Superior quality by far! As someone who’s constantly wrenching on projects, I’ve struggled for years with messy drawers and lost sockets but this works amazing when you need that socket fast! The magnetic base is no joke. It holds every socket tight, from shallow to deep, and even when I tip the tray or move it between toolboxes, nothing budges. Everything is clearly labeled, making it super easy to grab the size I need without digging around. It also saves a ton of drawer space and keeps everything visually organized. Over the years I've ended up with quite a few socket sets. I subscribe to the idea that if I can buy the tool(s) to do the job and get it done cheaper than having it done, it's a win/win. I've organized my sockets using some aluminum rails purchased here on Amazon and they work fine, but I do find myself having to look through them to determine which one is metric vs. SAE, 3/8 vs. 1/2 inch drive, etc. And some of the rails don't let go of the socket as easily as I'd like. That keeps the sockets from being knocked off, but there's such a thing as enough vs. too much holding force.Enter these magnetic socket organizers. You can tell at a glance based upon color which sockets are metric vs. SAE, and the 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 drive are pretty easy to discern. As advertised, the organizers stick to the side of a steel toolbox and that has allowed me to get another drawer in my toolbox back. I'm pretty happy with that. And seeing the socket size at a glance rather than having to look at numbers embossed in the side of the chrome or black sockets is great.But there are some negatives. If you bump the tall sockets at all while walking by, or if you take the organizer off the side of the toolbox with too much of a sudden motion, some of the sockets fall out. This is easy to do, as the big surface area of the organizer has it holding on to the steel with quite a bit of force. As such, it would have been very useful to have some finger holes in the edges so they could be eased off the side of the toolbox.Also, these are quite big, so they take up a lot more space than the rail system that they replace. You can't stack them on top of one another due to the height difference of the various sockets. Using them in a toolbox would require at least one additional drawer, and a tall one at that since the tall sockets can't lay on their side as they can when a rail system is used. So I think the use case of sticking them on the side of a steel toolbox is the only one where I'd recommend these. Most of us don't have the extra space to handle the inefficiency of any other storage arrangement.

Great product and comes in handy with organizing my tools. The magnet comes in clutch because I don’t have a lot of storage space so I’m able to stick the socket holder onto the metal leg of my work bench. The magnetic holders are nice and ensure that I never lose my 10mm socket again
