I used this kit when putting a cabinet together and found it to be quite nice to have everything I needed right there on my wrist and belt. I used the different sections on the wristband to organize the different sizes of screws, nuts, nails, etc, and hung a couple of different sizes of screwdrivers, wrench, and my multi-tool on the belt magnet. I just rotated my wrist to find the right sized screw for the section I was working on, then reached down to grab the screwdriver and before I knew it, I was done. The belt magnet is quite strong, so it’s easier to slide a tool off instead of pulling away from it. This is now a part of my toolbag, and I just stick it on the outside, where it is attracted to the tools inside, so it is the first thing I pull off and put on before opening my bag. Placing it in the bag means yanking out a bunch of tools with it and then having to pull them off, but on the outside, it doesn’t dislodge the tools before I’m ready to pull them out. Overall a good addition to my toolkit that makes my life easier.

I've been rebuilding a couple of porches and while I have a tool pouch, I thought I'd try these items to see how they hold fasteners and tools - and the answer is great!The clip for your belt goes on easily with a spring loaded catch that you push to release and attach to your belt. It has a round magnet area and is plenty strong - it's holding my 16 oz framing hammer in the photo above quite securely. The only thing I've noticed about this is take care where you mount it because while it holds tools very well, if you have it hanging over your legs and crouch down, you can knock those tools off. The product works great - but physics still matters!The arm band is also very nice - very handy to set up with some screws or nails for the job at hand. I was attaching some plywood panels and needed several screws handy - this wrist unit worked great. The fasteners stick to the "panels" in the wrist band - which attaches to your arm with velcro.All in all - very handy devices that have made it into my daily rotation - and at a very reasonable price. Definitely recommended!

This magnetic holder kit is a pretty good idea.The wrist band feels a bit bulky to start, but after wearing it for a while I didn't notice it much. The magnets on the wrist band aren't terribly powerful, but they're strong enough to hold screws, bolts and nuts, which seems to be what it's intended for. It works well for that purpose, but I had to remind myself to use it as I'm used to putting my fasteners in my work apron pockets. It still makes sense to put a lot of one type of fasteners into a pocket or pouch, but the wrist band works great to hold a few different individual fasteners.The belt clip on the other hand has a very powerful magnet on it that's strong enough to hold tools. It's so powerful that it has the side effect of magnetizing your tools. That's good if you want a magnetized screwdriver but not so good if you don't. I could see using the belt clip for special uses, but I still prefer a tool belt or tool apron to it. Plus I'm not a big fan of having all my tools inadvertently magnetized.Overall though this is a nice tool set that can come in very handy.

The wrist band is nice, but the magnet that comes with the wrist band is the best. It clips on my belt and is very powerful.

This belt magnet is alright and if it was the only one I had ever seen I would say it was great and I loved the idea. Unfortunately I've bought a few of these and the best one I've found has a rectangle magnet areav that matches the clip size and a better belt clip instead of the round magnet shape and the belt clip on this.All of these belt clips will be numerous magnets inside a piece of rubber on a clip. The thing is, not only does the shape of the magnet and the clip vary between designs but there's also a huge variance in magnetic strength.This clip has relatively strong magnets but one example is I stuck my magsafe phone to this to see if it would stick and it fell off relatively quickly when I was moving around. With the rectangle magnet belt clip I have it can hold onto my phone through quite a bit of jostling.
