Fully recharge your new battery pack when you first receive it. Do not over-discharge the battery, stop using it when you notice a drop in performance. Do not over-charge the battery, remove the battery from charger when you are done recharging. Heat lowers battery life, do not charge or discharge the battery when it's hot. Always let the batteries cool down to room temp before using it/charging it. Do not store the battery with low voltage, recharge after each use to avoid over-discharge. Always store the battery in a dry and cool place, never expose it to heat or direct sunlight. Recharge the battery once every 6-month, if they will be unused or stored long term.

The Melasta 8.4 NiMH battery pack is a great alternative to more expensive batteries and makes for a great replacement or backup that simply works as described. Absolutely no issues with charging or discharging and while full it does produce just over 9V making a great value-based solution for those that want additional batteries.

I use this in my TM AK and it works great in the stock. It charges just like the rest of these style batteries and lasts about the same. I don't know if 1800mah is accurate, but it kept up with my 1600mah batteries just fine. I would recommend this as the value is great and it seems the quality is on par with the major brands.
