It was the wrong pump, I was supposed to get one for a 2001 f350 short bed and the one I received was about 4" longer. I wasn't able to compare and intalled it which pretty much voids the warranty. I transferred all the components to the old one and intalled but either way dropping a fuel tank isn't easy for a one man job and it being the wrong size made my life hell due to the one man one issue and the truck being 120 miles away.

Installed approximately 11 months ago on my 2000 F350 SD 7.3 (39 gal tank). Direct fit and still works perfectly; fixed fuel gauge problem and remains accurate to date.

Perfect fit on my 99 f250 lariat 7.3 diesel. And stop the killing problem when I went to take off up hills!!!
