I’m sure it would work fine but not the right part if you are trying to get a mustang factory tach to work with an Msd 6al.

Connecting an electronic tachometer directly to an MSD elecronic ignition units can result in erratic tachometer readings due to the multiple spark signal. The ADAPTER proved excellent in filtering out the multiple pulses and I now have a stable tachometer reading.

this MSD tach adaptor did what it needed to do, and that was to make an original '68 charger tic-toc tach work properly while operating in conjunction with a MSD digital 6 ignition unit(and blaster II coil) and a Edelbrock Pro-Flo 4 injection system fitted to the 440,the tacho wouldn't work properly without the #8910 tach adaptor in place, and with the diode(that comes with the adaptor) in circuit as well,so, it's all good - now.............

This MSD Ignition 8910 has definitely be returned, the package was unsealed, the instruction dirty and crumbled.Why do I receive a used part if I bought a new part, what was the reason it has been returned, will it work, will I have to return it too?I'll find out this weekend when I install it together with the MSD 6A , but until then the rating is one star only.

Tenia un viejo tacómetro Vdo de porsche 914 y lo queria conectar a mi Msd 6al Digital e mi vocho pero al conectarlos no pasaba nada realmente el tacómetro no funcionaba hasta que coloque este adaptadorrealmente fue un alivio y saber que solo necesitaba de este adaptador realmente lo recomiendo

I installed this MSD 8910 in a 1978 Fiat X1/9. It makes the stock tachometer to work with an Street Fire ignition module. This unit is for a signal from points.
