Had my computer case fan rattling for so long. Got this to replace it and it's so nice and quiet that I almost forget I turned on my computer. Worth the price

Other fans have great designs for airflow and pressure as well. It's not that Noctua necessarily has the best specifications for your application either, since they only have a few fans and the whole fan market has thousands of options. For me, it comes down to the reliability of the fans. I've had to replace a lot of fans from other vendors over the years but Noctua has been the only one that just keeps spinning without extra noise. Even if there is a problem, they have a 6 year warranty, something I've never had to make use of.With the addition of a 200m option from them (in black - really my only complaint is their signature brown fans just don't go with the majority of my case designs), their lineup is pretty complete. As a modder I suppose I wouldn't mind a 160mm fan but I'd use them maybe once a year so I guess they shouldn't listen to me.

These are large & quiet. Noctua always delivers on quality. Two of these fit perfectly on top of a Denon AVR. Kept it cool below 85F during hot summer days. Paired it with a Noctua NA-FC1 fan controller to dial down the RPM to be dead silent.

Noctua is the best. Installed in the front of a Corsair 650D case. Replaced a Thermal take fan. Pluged into Comander Pro controler. This fan moves more air and does it quietly. Corsair 120 Pro in the back. H115i Elite Capellix in the roof . Everthing set to extreme profile. 5800X3D, 4070ti super. Everything super cool and quiet even when fans ramp to almost 100% and yes the single Noctua Keeps positive preasure in the case.

The fan I received had a mailing label to a single family home address in Battle Creek, MI. I know this because it had a big Amazon label placed over the shipping label and when I peeled off the Amazon label it was the kind that tries to mask the underlying label with a bunch of voids printed all over it. I used a flashlight from behind to get the information from the shipping label. The product box was not sealed, and the paperwork was missing, but other than that it seemed to be ok. I needed this fan, so I am keeping it. I tested to see if it worked, which it did, so I installed it in my rig. I have no problem with the Fan, it runs silent and pushing air through my rig. I'm just pissed that Amazon sold me a returned item and tried to hide the fact with a silly label. My rating is for the product!

Great fan - nice and quiet. Except the problem for me was that it doesn't move enough air, it is limited to a low RPM. I ended up having to use the 200mm fan that came with my ASUS case because it is able to get up to a higher RPM than this one. It would be nice if Noctua would expand their 200mm product lineup for a wider speed / static pressure range.

Sucks the hot air out too good. Good price, Strong durability, Cable length small but they provide extension yet it easily unclips, No vibrations as long as you put the cushions on and the speed is just right because it sucks a lot of air.

It's a Noctua fan, you pretty much know what to expect. Very quiet, very well built, and very powerful. Got one to use as a large side fan for my PC tower, cools it down and is a fraction of the volume my old fan produced.

Exactly what I needed for my audio video receiver.Large enough to cover most of the top of my AVR, so the planned adapter was not necessary, I just laid in on top over the warm area and plugged it in to a power supply.I had anticipated using a speed control to slow and quiet the fan, and that was un necessary because it was quiet enough at full speed that I have to get close and hold my hand over to feel if it's running. Normal house sounds make it hard to hear unless it's very quiet otherwise. The large diameter slow speed produce a large volume of airflow at low speed, so there is very little if any wind noise. Before the install I set it up vertically on the table and even though the breeze comming off it was soft it would russle a paper napkin 6 ft away. Not a lot of pressure and very little sound. The AVR only gets slightly warm without the fan so with fan, it runs at room temp.I used a load triggered power strip and a 12V power adapter to come on with the AVR. I mistakenly left the fan plugged into the always on outlet and didn't notice it running continuously for 2 days. I bought the black version, and it isn't noticable in my cabinate.Im very satisfied with this setup

So, I can't actually make use of this fan in my PC since it's just too big, but I wanted Noctua's big fan because I'm a big fan of Noctua. That said, after getting it running at 100% power over a spare fan header, it's really quiet for the amount of air I could feel it moving. It also dwarfs a 120mm fan like my spare NF-S12a and makes a massive air cooler like my dual fan NH-D15S look small.Since I can't use it in my PC, what I'm intending to do with mine is make a USB desk fan out of it, doing so in a way that won't permanently modify the fan itself. If you can actually use it in your PC case this should be an amazing silent airflow fan.If not, then it's not too difficult to convert it into a desk fan with a tablet stand and a USB 5v-12v adapter cable spliced into a 3/4-pin fan extension for power.

No hay mucho que decir de Noctua, la calidad de este ventilador es de lo mejor. Mueve mucho aire y es bastante silencioso.Lo instale en una caja Thermaltake Core V1 y quedó sin problemas.
