Not an exact fit for 1984 F150. Had to change out the Armature with the old one. The attachment peg was not long enough on the new wiper motor. After a little modification I got the old Armature to work on the new wiper motor It now works as it should.

Wiper motor worked fine on a 1986 f150 but did require me to swith the arm from my old one and file it a bit to fit on the wiper motor. Functions as it should.

Does the job but had to slightly file the hole on the original wiper arm to fit this one. May have just been mine, but it definitely was not a quick swap for me.

I ordered this for an old 1982 Bronco. It stated that it fit. The motor fit the hole but the arm that the wiper arms attach to is too short. I had to take the old one off and modify it to fit the new one. I made it work but it wouldv'e saved me an hour or so of work if it was the correct item.Motor is good and strong and works after the mod.

Had to return motor. It was noisier that the vehicle running, No gasket to mount to firewall, arm didn’t fit my application which it said it would, motor failed to return to the stowed position when the switch is turned off don’t. Waste your time on this one.... if you do buy this one and it doesn’t meet your expectations and you go to return it you better do it quick because you aren’t allowed a lot of time to get it returned.. DON’T DO IT.

This was not a drop in replacement for my 1982 F150, the shaft on the arm that operates the wipers is too short and the original arm does not fit the shaft on the new motor. I was able to gently file the old arm and get it to fit the new shaft.The ground connector wire from the motor is a plug, on my 1982 F150 the original grounded to one of the wiper motor mounts. The original grounding wire was too short to go to the top left bolt so I connected it to the top right bolt. Initially it did not want to ground there, I took the bolt out and the rubber insulator with the insert and cleaned everything with contact cleaner and a brass brush, put it together and checked with a meter and had a good ground. Motor ran and performed as it should.Note: there is a huge amount of work involved to replace something as simple as a wiper motor and you will need to replace the firewall seal since if like mine it will be old and crispy and fall apart.
