Pretty sure all of these booths that look like this are the same. They just get sold under Paasche, Master or whatever. It's exactly like the Master one right down to the lemon sticker on it.It works decently and the price is right. It does keep my overspray off of places I don't want it. I have to keep painter's paper under it, though, or I'll get paint or dye under it. I use this mainly for airbrushing alcohol/oil based leather dyes but also for some acrylics. If you are using alcohol based I definitely recommend venting it outside because the alcohol goes right through the filters. It does catch the dye and acrylic though which is what I need it to. A bit more powerful of a fan would be nice but for the price you can't expect much more.

Whilst easy to assemble; there are some flaws in the design. Small gaps in the bottom corners (and middle if using two side by side) of the hood allow overspray to escape and cover my desk. Which has "bounced off" the filter back out of the hood. Also the noise dB rating is misrepresented because it is the fan rating and not the total sound level. The vent fan has no rubber washers. Allowing vibration to spread throughout the enclosure. Making it significantly louder. I will add some as well as butyl sound mat and post the results.Over all the unit performs at the level equal to the price. However poor design that could be fixed for less than a penny per unit lowers my rating. Paasche makes industrial equipment and is more than capable of producing a better product.

I love this thing. It folds up nice but like many reviews made before mine the cord does not retract.

I bought this because I wanted to contain any over spray and it does what it is supposed to do, as long as you don't expect it to perform like an industrial spray booth would. It does not come with any lights which can make every painting session challenging, so I just bought an LED light strip pictured here for about $35 CAD and stuck it on the top cover.Worth every penny!

Works great, it's relatively quiet - about 2-3x as loud as my computer fan. It has pretty good suction, though you still want to spray near the filter (on the convenient lazy susan that comes with it). Folds up for easy storage, folds up to roughly half the size of a tower (computer for scale, nearest thing). It also came with an exhaust so you can hook up a dryer hose to point it out a window if you want. Arrived within a couple of days, well worth the price I think. I'll be airbrushing with it for years.

It works pretty well. I am able to airbrush acrylics in the house now and no fumes or paint residue. Key factor is to remember to spray into the booth at all times , don't spray across the air stream, spray at the filter.

I've been using airbrushes since . . . well, the last century. ;-) I have 2 Paasche airbrushes in my collection, in addition to a half dozen other, finer airbrushes, and I've always been impressed with Paasche's design and robust quality. I've used a number of different spray booths over the years but I was intrigued by this Paasche's design. I was not disappointed.I had it out of the box, set up, and plugged in in less than 1 minute -- it folds up for storage almost as quickly. The design is very clever -- it sets up easily and it packs back up into a very compact package complete with a heavy-duty handle for toting. Fabulous! I wish I'd had this when I used to do live demonstrations in stores and malls -- I bet I could even have sold a few of these! The fan is effective and very quiet -- quieter than the bathroom fans most booths use -- and the replaceable filter works well. While I'm not sure it's mentioned in the description, it also comes with the adaptor if you want to use dryer hose to vent the exhaust, a great way to vent away fumes and paint dust. I have read comments about problems with the retracting power-cord reel and thought that I had broken mine, too; but I found that pressing hard on the cord button while the booth was solidly on the table disengaged the ratchet, and I haven't had a problem since. The turntable is solid and smooth, and the booth fits both my Tamiya multi-functional turntables, too. A good LED work-light clipped on the side was all I added. I happened to buy 2 booths -- they were on sale -- and I can't wait to set them up side by side for a large project that normally wouldn't have fit. Highly recommended!

Perfect little spray booth for hobbyist. Exhaust fan works perfectly, takes up little space, exactly what someone with limited room needs to paint with. This low-rated product review is because of:1. Cord retract does not work - this is a quality control issue, should have been tested before it left wherever they make these items.2. Replacement filters from Paasche do not fit properly (purchased the carbon filters to handle paint fumes.Thankfully Amazon takes good care of it's members and I have a replacement on its way. The one I'm reviewing is on its way back.Just got the replacement. Same problem. I would think that since the item carries the Paasche brand name that it would mean something, but that would be an incorrect thought.I opted to ask for a refund and ordered the Master Airbrush brand item instead. Looks like the exact same thing anyway.Update, the master airbrush brand booth that retails for $30 less is the same EXACT thing with a DC power source and no retracting cable. Save yourself some money and get that one.

I bought two of these and connected them together to make a 32in. wide booth. Works great, allows me to paint inside. 5 stars all the way!

Two stars and I'm not even sure it deserves that. I've been a loyal Paasche consumer for 24 years, using it entirely for my model railroading, and have been very happy with their equipment. Prior to that I had a double action Thayer-Chandler, which as a professional phptpgrapher I used for both retouching and model making. The point is that I have some airbrush experience.I bought this booth when I moved into a condo for its apparent portability, and because it was Paasche, a name I trusted. I paid the extre $70 over the cheaper Chinese alternative because the Paasche didn't use a wall wort, and again I trusted Paasche to deliver a quality product.Wrong!First of all, the cheap plastic cover in the first unit I received was broken. After waiting an additional two weeka for a replacement, I received one that wasn't broken, but was of equally poor workmanship. I'll need to be very careful to keep from breaking the new one. It will fulfill my need because I'm no longer into a production situation and it's ability to be packed away is vital in my circumstance. However if you need portability,, my advice would be to buy one of the cheap Chinese branded units because they are the same thing with a wall wort. Much better yet, spend a little more money and get one of the more durable. portable models, Paasche or otherwise. Unfortunately I've lost a great deal of trust in the Paasche Company due to this experience, and there are other good, more professional and well-built spray booths to look at.

Works as advertised. I use it for painting my model kits. It traps the paint dust and if you get the optional charcoal filter the paint fumes are kept down also. There is an attachment that allows you to vent it outdoors (like a dryer vent) if you so desire. The turn table painting stand works great. I would recommend buying Tamiya's spray-work painting stand set to compliment the booth. The whole stand folds up so it can be taken down if space is limited. It's pretty quiet when running

This spray both is awesome, and very well built. The item description leaves out the coolest features about it. The spray booth folds up into a small box with a handle. The cord retracts inside the housing. it is very easy to carry and when your not using it folds up so you can store it anywhere. The fan is a perfect strength to keep the spray back from hitting me in the face, actually I hardly noticed the spray back at all. The fan is quieter than my air compressor (which is pretty quiet). I am very pleased with this purchase.
