Handbrake Installation Procedure:

  1. Assess the extent of wear on the handbrake cover. If significant wear is observed, it is advisable to replace the handbrake cover first. (Note: The handbrake cover, not the foot brake cover)
  2. Proceed with installing the handbrake cable and adjust the clearance between the handbrake and brake drum to its minimum.
  3. Connect the computer plug, open the phone key door, and verify if the electronic handbrake module functions properly (the second and third steps must not be reversed).
  4. Once confirmed that the electronic handbrake module operates normally, proceed with installing the emergency unlocking line.
