After experiencing brake fade previously as a teen, I have always stuck to higher quality pads. Admittedly, I sometimes I do have a tendency to drive hard. These pads have never failed me in any of my vehicles. They do not fade. And require less force to slow the vehicle. They even last longer than OEM and produce less dust. I have stopped counting the amount of times that Hawk brake pads have provided instant stopping power in difficult situations.

Mileage so far: 1500 milesThis would have been a 5-star review if bite degradation isn't too significant on cold+wet+salty road. If it's just wet+cold, no problem, bite is very good. I never had this kind of degradation using stock pads though. A trip to the car wash would solve this issue.Anyways, now i have to say the 'good' points: Consistent, quiet and stronger bite (compared to oem nissan and akebono)...and almost no dust (much less than i expected - yes, clean rims!). Needs less effort on brake pedal for great stopping power. As with many pads out there, when rotors get warmer, braking improves but not dramatic - no surprises here. Definitely happy with my purchase.********** UPDATE @3k Miles *********Still great stopping power, definitely better than OEM. Although i'm beginning to notice that braking power dramatically decreases when rotors become wet, not only on wet & salty road.********** UPDATE @10k Miles *********Superb bite when dry, horrible when wet. I'm now rating this to only 3-points.

These were the worst brakes ever. They squealed really bad. They produced so much brake dust that I have permanent black marks on my rims. After 3 months I had to have them replaced along with the rotors that they ruined.
