I actually got this for the plate stand. I wanted to use it as a picture stand but it's plastic and not very sturdy. I decided to set up the plate and stand as a decorative element. I was pleasantly surprised how nice it looked. I have a long chest of drawers in my bedroom. It's white. On top of the chest I have a lamp in the middle, a snow globe (not a Xmas one) with a red base on one side, and then I put this plate on the other side of the lamp. It all looks amazing and balanced. I love that this plate is mostly black/white with a few red accents. So by accident, I created a lovely area on top of my chest of drawers using this plate.

I received this product free through the Amazon Vine program. The plate I received has a Japanese mountain scene that I thought was lovely. It is a thick quality plate and while the colors of this design are limited, it looks like it would lend well to a colorful personalized design.The plate comes with 2 means to display: a super cheap plastic plate stand (I guess this product is not about the stand as much as the plate, but I will likely throw the stand away and buy a nicer stand made out of wood, or that is thicker plastic), and adhesive to stick to the back of the plate so that the plate may hang on the wall.That being said, the price of the product itself is very reasonable for a custom product, so one could consider the plate stand a free inclusion.Do keep in mind this product is sold as a “display only” product, not as being safe for use for eating.I am excited enough about the idea of a customizable plate and the low price that I think I will order a customized plate!! If I do so, I will update with pictures and a new review of that product. Keep an eye out.
