The color of the leather for this cavasson is almost spot on to match the rest of the tack. It’s a bit hard to buckle bc the leather is really stiff. I’m hoping it will loosen up as time goes by as we use it.

The caveson works great and has enough hole placements. If anything my quarter horse barely fits into the band around her nose and mouth. My biggest complaint is that the color is not the same in the photo. It is like a light sandy color. Tan like color. Not red or dark tinted as shown in the photo. Overall, great quality leather and does the job.
