FANTASTIC TOOL. OTHERS USE WEIRD COMBINATIONS BUT DONT. USE ONE OF THESE AS IT IS DESIGNED TO LOCK INTO THE KEY THAT HELPS IT FROM SLIDING OFF. IF IT SLIDES OFF IT WILL PUT A DENT IN YOU WHEN IT FLIES. THIS IS MADE TO STAY ON EVEN IF IT SLIPS OFF THE KEY. MY DUAL EXHAUST SAME SIDE ON ESCALADE WAS IN WAY SO FIRST TIME DID NOT GET IT SEATED IN DIMPLE, AS IS DID NOT KNOW DIMPLE WAS THERE. NOT EVEN THE IMPACT WOULD SCREW THIS IN THAT FAR. WE HAD TO USE A 1 INCH DRIVE BREAKER BAR TO UNLOAD IT. SO QUALITY GRADE IS IMPORTANT.

Worked perfectly! The tool got my 2005 Yukon keys off with no problem whatsoever. The tool slid into the proper slots and easily pushed the keys up. I DID lubricate the threads first to play it safe and I would advise the same for anyone else. This allowed the job to be done without a hitch.

Used on a '91 S15 Jimmy (Blazer)- didn't really fit the factory slots correctly. But I was able to work it into a stable position. I did beat the threads up on it a bit, when I didn't position it properly on one of the keys- however I could definitely use it to load and unload both torsion bars one or two more times. I did completely coat the threads with EP moly grease, wind it fully the other direction, and coated them again to ensure good coverage, plus put a little grease where the end of the screw hits the key; and just used a ratchet by hand to do the job. It really didn't take too long (5 minutes) and wasn't too hard with a 1/2" ratched (no cheater). You do need to have a pretty good sized socket- I think it was 1 1/8" and it was helpful to have the wench on the body when re-loading the keys.Well worth the money compared to what the shop wanted for the same job (besides I wasn't feeling to good driving it anymore once finding a completely broken sway bar bushing mount!). If I did this more, I'd probably invest in one of the more expensive ones- however I doubt it would have worked any better.

Received early this week. Since I had the few days off from work for the holidays, we put on leveling keys on my truck and also my son's truck. Worked perfectly for both jobs.I highly recommend greasing the tool heavily before every use. I worked part time at a mechanic shop many years ago and this is how we were trained. We used the OTC tool in the shop and looking at this tool it seems very similar quality wise and the use was identical. Great tool for the price.

It was a one time use tool. I threw it in the trash after I used it. The reason I gave it two stars was it didn't break. And still cheaper then having someone else do it.
