I just put the grip extender on and it is amazing out of the box. Fits great. Still able to access the battery/card door with it on, unlike Canon’s. AND it doubles as a quick-release tripod plate!!Because it is hollow, it doesn’t help with the camera feeling off balance if you’re sensitive to that, but I plan on looking for some small balancing weights to be able to offset that.One thing is the flat head included to attach the extension was a little thick. I was still able to screw it on, but it doesnt fit all the way in the screw. And its home is magnetically attached to the extender, so I worry it might pop off if the camera drops or something. But many other things could also be used to screw the extender on if that turned out to be the case.So first impressions are very high as of right now. I’ll be updating as time goes on if anything changes!!
