Installed gasket per the service manual for the motor and ran great in the beginning. Two mows later and the new headgasket blew in two places and was heading for more. Less than an hour on the gaskets.Don't buy unless you like recreational maintenance. Unfortunately two mows put me past the return timeliness so I'm SOL.

I took a snip out of the plastic bag holding the head gasket. Then, I tore at that plastic. Neither the gasket, nor the cardboard card in the bag are in any way rigid. I ended up folding the gasket partway, which left a mark in the gasket material. Cut that plastic bag all the way across, then carefully slide the gasket out of the bag! I fear that my head gasket may blow out, right where I folded it.That out of the way - the gasket is a perfect fit for my old Briggs OHV engine. The engine is assembled, and running!
