This Muscle Carts garden wagon has a 400 lb. load capacity, is made of steel, and comes with folding, removable sides for flatbed use. The utility wagon is designed for transporting up to 400 lb. of supplies, equipment, or materials. The crate's steel mesh construction provides increased rust resistance over iron, and has a powder-coated finish for durability. To facilitate loading and unloading of heavy items from the wagon, the sides of the crate fold down, and can be removed entirely for flatbed wagon applications, such as transporting oversized articles. The wagon comes with a steel handle with a D-style grip, and four 10" pneumatic rubber tires to resist abrasion and absorb shock while rolling on assorted indoor and outdoor terrain. The wagon is 21-3/4 x 34 x 18 inches (H x L x W). (H is height, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; L is length, the horizontal distance from front to back; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right.) With the sides removed, the utility wagon's height is 13-1/2". This wagon requires some assembly (tools sold separately), and it is suitable for material handling applications in gardens, warehouses, construction sites, and stores, among others. Utility wagons, also known as service carts, are used for securely storing, organizing, and transporting equipment, supplies, refuse, and materials. They are suitable for use in industrial, manufacturing, and maintenance applications, as well as in the home. Sandusky Lee manufactures steel storage products for office, commercial, industrial, and educational applications.

I paid $85.81 for this wagon (including NC sales tax) in May of 2020 and it was worth every penny. Easy to assemble, sturdy, and very useful. So useful in fact, my husband decided he needed it at work more than I did at home. Now I’m looking to buy another and the price has increased to $221 and change before tax, so I guess I’m just out of an awesome tool. If you can stand to pay the $221 for this wagon - courtesy of Joe Biden’s “Build Back Broker” America - then hide it from your husband.

I purchased this as a gift for my dad, and put it together for him. It came in good condition, with all the welds being in the correct locations (some reviewers have had issues with this, apparently). The assembly instructions are terrible, offering only blurry and minuscule illustrations, but it is a very straightforward process and quite obvious once you unpack all the pieces and look through them. I am overall happy with the cart, as it seems it will allow him to move firewood, rocks, paint cans, and yard stuff around quite easily. The sides are easily attached and removed by using a sliding clip through the hinges. It is slightly difficult for one person to lock the sides into place, with the way it is designed, but it can be done. You basically have to put the left and right sides up, and then lift either the front or back side up at the same time to lock them into place. Not hard, but not exactly easy unless you have three hands! You will most likely have to play around with the latch nuts to get them to be the proper spacing to allow for the lip of the sides to slide in.The build quality is adequate, and seems to be fairly sturdy. As some reviews mention, the wire mesh that covers the bottom and sides is a bit flimsy. I would have to agree, and I think it could be easily bent or damaged with enough weight. I honestly don't think it could withstand 400 lbs, like they claim, but I haven't tested it either...so who knows! But, it definitely will hold up through most regular work it will be doing. It won't be until I help with loading a bunch of pond rocks into it this spring, that I will know if it is a disaster! One of the photos on the product page shows the sides hanging down, to be able to use it with only the flat bed, without taking the sides off. This photo is very misleading, as it looks like the sides can fall all the way down, and the wheels will not interfere. This is not the case. The sides will rub against the wheels, so it is not practical to keep the sides attached while not being used. It is super simple to detach/reattach them, so it is no big deal to me. But, the photo is quite misleading.Another common review issue I read was about the smell coming from the box/tires. Yes, there is a smell, however mine was not overpowering like others have claimed. Honestly, it smells like tires. It is no different than any of the other tires I have found at hardware stores, so it doesn't bother me. But, there is a smell, and it will eventually go away.Ultimately, for the price, I think this utility cart was a great investment. It will be much easier to use than my wheelbarrow, and I like the fact that you can take off the sides to have a flat surface. Works for me!

So far I am very happy with this wagon, especially with the extremely reasonable price. I have to say that I am appreciative of all the people who have given such thoughtful and detailed reviews . Their reviews helped me decide to buy this thing, and what to expect. I know, I know, that's the whole point of the reviews, but still I appreciate the help. From the reviews I knew to expect it to smell bad at first-it really does! And I also knew that the smell would go away .It is diminishing . Because a couple of people said the box made a mess when they opened it, I was cautious and peeked inside first; I was prepared to put down a tarp to catch the detritus but it wasn't necessary. Maybe I was lucky, or maybe the manufacturer is responding to criticism . There were two thin sheets of styrofoam inside, one at each end of the box . They had crumbled a little so there were a few crumbs, but that was all . The side panels were separated by bubble wrap , and the handle and axles were sheathed in plastic . Any small parts that were not already attached were on a single shrink-wrapped cardboard. There was no loose metal or dust or anything of that nature. The assembly instructions are brief pictograms . It was helpful to me that the inside back page is a parts list , with pictures identifying each part. When I was puzzled by the pictogram I referred to the images on the parts list to identify the parts which are indicated in the pictograms by their numbers .I was able to figure it out, and assembled it without problems . I appreciated the people who mentioned that you have to bend the cotter pins. The instructions don't say or illustrate that, and I haven't had cause to install a cotter pin in maybe 30 years. it was helpful to be reminded .I appreciate the people who said that I should paint it with rust preventative, and I will . I found a socket wrench & a crescent wrench to be helpful in the assembly , but with a little more difficulty I could have done it with just an adjustable wrench, or I suppose large pliers and a screwdriver. The wagon is a little bit out-of-true; All four wheels do not touch the ground at once. It is possible that it will straighten out with weight & time, or it won't! It doesn't matter . If it bothers me, maybe I will try to put in a shim or something to even it out. I'm certainly not sending it back! The wagon seems sturdy . It moves and goes over obstacles such as curbs with ease , unlike my old wheelbarrow & the dolly I have used to move big potted plants. I am pleased that the sides are easy to let down or remove entirely . All in all, a sturdy and useful little vessel for my pots & bags of mulch.

I had prepared myself to be disappointed, some Chinese cheapies are really crap and not worth the savings. But, this cart is excellent. Yes, maybe the instructions could be improved, but honestly the instructions were not necessary. There were only two nuts and bolts that were not pre-inserted where they belonged, and it everything was super obvious how it went together. Considering the price, I would say it is very well designed and built. How they can manufacture it, ship it from China to a reseller, and then have it sent Prime shipping to my house for only $61 is unbelievable. I really like the green color - very much like Chevrolets from the 1940's. It went together quickly and I honestly spent more time peeling the labels off of the wheels than assembling it. I added a few washers on the axles and there was one bolt that holds the wheel halves together that was stripped. Easy to replace, and otherwise a very solid cart. An 8 year old could assemble it (at least I could have when I was 8)
