This scoop actually catches all the small litter pieces unlike my old one. The deep design holds more waste before needing to dump it. The small holes trap even fine grain litter perfectly. The hanging hook has held up well over months of use. The black plastic shows scratches easily but that doesn't affect function

I like the small holes in this compared to the one that comes with the litter genie because it picks up the small clumps of litter so easily. Highly recommend.

Use Fresh Step kitty litter and have tried their branded litter scoop. While it works .... it doesn't slide on the bottom of a pan and also can be difficult to use because of the round handle. This litter makes the same litter in the same litter pan easy to clean. Any Fresh Step litter parents should buy these.

This scooper is flimsy, made of cheap plastic, definitely not 'sturdy' as the description states. The front/scoop part might be serviceable with a stronger handle and connection to the handle, but the whole thing is too thin and bends much too easily. If you're just removing solid waste from a litter box, again, maybe it would be usable for scooping something lightweight. I'll keep it as a backup or for a sloppy situation where you'd rather throw it away than try to clean it. Definitely not worth the current price of $7.99.

This cheesy plastic litter scoop is an overall fail for me. The holes are appropriately-sized for my clumping litter but the scoop itself is too flimsy. It bends very easily when trying to scoop a big clump and it is not sturdy enough to scrape wet litter from the bottom of the litter pan. The "long" handle is actually not. The asking price of almost $10 is an absolute ripoff; I would not pay $2 for this item.

I was excited to try this because the litter gets stinky faster when you can’t get all the little bits out. This works great for that, but unfortunately the plastic is too soft/flexible to scrape the stuff off the bottom. Otherwise, it works fine and is actually larger than the ones I had already which were normal sized. Since I have other scoops I can use those for the hard bits and then use this to get it all out. Due to the amount of flexibility I can only give it 4 stars. It didn’t break and doesn’t seem to be stiff enough that it will, it just doesn’t have the hardness to scrape it. I haven’t seen one like this before so I would recommend this. It does help a lot with the freshness of the litter.

I got this scoop hoping to have something to clean up all the little bits that are left over from scoops with larger holes. My kids clean the cat boxes and sometimes they accidentally break up clumps or just aren't as meticulous as I'd like. Once a week, I use this scoop to more finely filter out all the little bits they leave behind. It works so well for that and I love it! The holes really are pretty small, small enough that I'm not sure I'd use this as my primary scoop but it's perfect for cleanup. The only thing that makes it 4/5 stars for me is the plastic and the handle. Because it takes a long time to filter litter, there's a lot of weight in it, and sometimes it would kind of bow under the weight or just not quite feel as sturdy as I'd like. The handle also isn't the most comfortable given the weight - it's one of those molded plastic handles that's hollow on the underneath, so the ridges of the handle cut into my hands a little bit. It's nothing awful but not a 5/5 handle situation. That said, it's super satisfying to use and I'm a big fan!

I ordered this because I thought the small holes would work well for when wet clumps of litter break apart and slip through the larger slits in most litter scoops. But the handle on this scoop is so flimsy that it bends if I use it to scoop out the large wet clumps in the litter box. So now I use my large metal scoop with a strong wooden handle and then grab this scoop if one of the wet clumps breaks apart and needs the small pieces sifted out of the litter. I guess you get what you pay for. I would only recommend this for someone who needs it to scoop tiny clumps from a little kitten. (But since the kitten will grow up, put your money toward a much sturdier scoop.)
