Like that you can scoop the poop and shake out the good pellets. Much less waste. Sturdy enough if you dont try to move a mountain. Very good for a normal scoop and shake.

I bought this litter scoop after reading another review from someone who uses wood pellets for cat litter. The scoop feels sturdy and it works beautifully for my litter. This is the BEST scoop if you use pellets. It's truly life changing. I'm going to spend less time scooping and I'm not going to throw away as much litter. Totally recommend this product.

Even though I no longer use Skoon cat litter, this is a great scoop for other types of clumping cat litter because it really conforms to the corners of our cat boxes.

We use OkoCat Mini Pellet litter and this scooper is perfect. It lets the clean pellets fall through and the soiled pellets are easily scooped into the toilet. We keep our box next to the toilet and hang this scoop behind the toilet. Love the hanging hoop.

I use Tractor Supply brand pine pellets, which aren't labeled specifically for cats. It's like $10 for 50lbs and lasts me months with 2 cats, but I have been searching for a scoop that can scoop poop without the hassle of also scooping all the pellets. I was having to just pick at the poops, which made cleaning the litter box a bigger waste of time, and more time I was spent bent over or crouched down, which is the last thing I want to do after a busy day spent on my feetI was worried the holes in this one wouldn't be wide enough for normal pellets, but it works great! The pellets fall through quite easily, and I can now scoop the cat poop much quicker with just a couple jiggles of the scoop to allow the pellets to shimmy through the holes. I use a sifting litter box to sift the sawdust out and keep the remaining pellets in, then replenish as needed.Breakage isn't a problem, since I'm not scooping anything heavy, just poops and sawdust.The downside is that some poops are too small and also fall through the holes, if you are a perfectionist when cleaning the box. But you can't have both bigger holes AND the ability to scoop tiny poops.
