I bought your leaf spring kits. Very well priced. Do you sell any disc brake kits for boat trailers that are used in a saltwater environment. I notice that you state these kits are not for boat trailer axles.

I've had 2 of these kits installed for 7 months now, dunked in the ocean ~20 times, and they are still working. Be sure to check for clearance of the caliper and check where the brake lines will rest before bolting the bracket. I used blue loctite on bolts. As a side note, on a brand new trailer brake install, I was not able to get the bubbles out of the 30' of lines using a handheld brake bleeder. I had to use a 120VAC vacuum pump and a hodgepodge of fittings. No fault of this kit, but it may help others.

I just installed this kit after the POS OEM caliper froze and ruined the rotor. This caliper and hub/rotor is more substantial then the parts that were replaced. It was an easy install with all parts included. They even press in the bearing races for you. Yeah, as others have said the packaging leave much to be desired but this kit is to good and priced right to give anything less than 5 stars.

That’s just a couple of pics. I ordered 4 of these kits. The quality of the overall kit is pretty good. Three of the four arrived damaged, see pics. The caliper’s hose elbows were mangled and the housing marred. See the one pic where debris was inside the elbows. I looked to return these and it was $54 each!!! It seems like the found the cheapest and worse cardboard supply available. Luckily the rotor/hub had a small price of plywood to protect it.Another problem is the inside pad doesn’t clip into the piston and is loose. In worried it going to constantly be rubbing against the backside of the rotor, causing rotor wear and the pad to wear unevenly. For the price though these aren’t a bad option, I guess you get what you pay for.

I don't leave reviews very often but felt like I should here because I have no idea how Southwest wheel makes any money on these rotors and calipers. They weigh a ton and I would think that shipping alone would cost a tremendous amount. I bought them to replace some older tie down disc brakes on my boat trailer and these seem to be of higher quality.
