I bought this to pull some airline from the spa to some air switches. It did the trick. I haven’t had to use it in the dark thankfully, but it doesn’t look like it would be all that bright.

I do not know who writes these reviews, but this fish tape is worthless. I purchased based on the reviews and Amazons recommendation, I'm thoughly perplexed. A fish tape has to have some level of rigidity this one does not, and must be able to be manipulated. The coil memory is so extreme making this tape useless for pushing through walls or in blind spaces. In open rafters where the end could be pulled by hand it can be used ,but so can a piece of string. I purchased this a year ago while building a house and did not use right way, by the time I did the return period was past. I pulled it out again today for another job...worthless, so I decided to wright this review. The only thing I have been able to use this for is pulling wire through short runs of medium conduit.

I’ve run about 1000 feet of cat six cable through half inch and three-quarter PVC conduit and this fish tape is amazing. I’ve been fighting with metal fish tapes for years and this 75’ Southwire has saved me countless hours. I’ve also used it on EMT pipe too. Will go around corners and bends that the metal fish tape will not dream of. Just a wonderful Southwire product.

Saw the YouTube vid for this and the demo impressed me. I tested it and like it. Glows in the dark in case you have a snake cam and need to see. It’s also non conductive which is a big safety bonus.Cool tape.

My 25 year old steel fish tape finally bit the dust so I went with the non-conductive tape. I was able to pull new wire through 1" & 1/2" conduit that probably was installed in the 70's if not earlier. The tip is a little bulky but a little dish soap helped slide it through corners and conduit with 4-6 existing wires. Can count the number of times I dropped it on concrete. It's still in one piece. I'm a DIY electrician so not sure how this would hold up using it everyday but certainly for my needs (rewire basement and garage) it's perfect.

Been using a metal fish for 20+ years but decided to give this a try. Works just as well no complaints and this can be used around power lines so a huge plus. Stiff enough to replace the metal variety and yet still able to make some tight corners I didn't think it would handle well. I would buy this again no questions asked.

I loved how easy this was too use right away as a beginner. I was able to run over 900ft of cat6 cable throughout my house without any issues. Most runs that I did were through conduit, and running two to three cords at a time. The most I ran at one time was five chords. It was a struggle to do, so I needed help with one person pulling and the other pushing, that had more to do with the conduit than this item. The only part that I would say for beginners, is that the tip can get caught if not taped down properly. If you can wrap the cords with it and kind of put the electrical tape running up to make it to where the cord is not creating an edge to get caught on, then you're fine. This length of cord was perfect for my two-story house from the second floor all the way to the basement.

Material seems rigid enough, but unfortunately the tip appears to be too long or thick to get around a bend in the Flexible Metal Conduit that had 3, 14 gauge wires in it. In the end, I used one of them to fish a Polypropylene Rope through and used that to pull the wires with. The product details states:> TWO LEADER OPTIONS: comes with either a 360° swiveling flexible metal leader (580 lb. strength) or a non-conductive glow in the dark leader (380 lb. strength)Which I took to mean that the leader was removable (also misunderstood and thought that it came with both). The leader IS NOT removable. Also, there is no option anywhere during purchasing where you can select the the metal leader (which is the cause of my misunderstanding), so if you want it, you're SOL. I would have given an extra star if I didn't feel mislead. The product itself seems good though.
