This heater core appears to be as good or maybe slightly better than the OEM unit it replaced. The heater core in my 1998 Econoline 350 ruptured and I purchased this one to replace it. It went in easily and appeared to be at least as good as the original one it replaced.

Carried my van to the shop 3 times to get the heater fixed and after $750 it still didn’t work. Install this and now it will run you out. Love it.

From cold to toasty... Fit perfectly...took us less then 1/2 hour to complete job... thank you went on a 1998 Ford Econoline E150, don't pay a dealer a grand to do this job, a few screws and careful with the clamps and you're done... Thanks I'm warm and dry for under a hundred bucks...can't beat that !

It is the same Chinese crap sold at the big box auto parts stores, but for 20 to 40 bucks less here on Amazon. It's cheap,like and thin, the heater core was way out of square, making it a tight fit in the duct system. Since my van is an 18 year old, rusty, $800 piece of 💩, I wasn't concerned with it lasting more then 5 years, if I had a money tree in my backyard,I'd get oem, but this was fine for my application.
