The description of the item on Amazon said each jar contained 16oz of underglaze. The jars that came were marked as containing 16 oz but the amount of underglaze in each jar was only 12 oz--I did measure each one. This clearly was the way the jars came from the Speedball company, not an Amazon issue, but Amazon may want Speedball to verify that the 16 oz jars only contain 12 oz of underglaze.

Son de consistencia muy arenosas, pero eso se quita al hornear .

I’ve been purchasing and using speedball underglazes for over a year now. It’s a great brand for the price. They usually arrive thick, so I do have to add some water to them so I can brush them on evenly. The colors are bright. Just like most underglazes, even amaco and mayco, the purples and blues kinda fade when a clear glaze is applied (even zinc free clear). I haven’t found a brand yet where the blues and purples stay bright. Can’t wait to use these colors because I normally buy the school set with the primary and secondary colors.

This is the worst glaze ever. The consistency was impossible to improve and after testing it it left pieces lumpy and flakes off in giant patches. It has effectively ruined 6 pieces of pottery. Don’t buy this! Save your money and go purchase some decent glaze. The first box also came super damaged with a half empty container. This box did too, but I was planning on just taking the loss. It’s all going back today for a refund!

I’ve used and love these glazes in the past but this box is a gross mess. Everything is open. Everything has leaked. I want a replacement but Amazon says I have to return these and I don’t even know how I could ship these back. Half the lids are cracked.
