Sparky ordered install. At about year five you shall find with all these afci that compatibility problems will ensue. All makes all manufactures don’t matter, their programmed yes programmed, as new devices may not play well with the older programs. Have dealt with washer trips Maytag , next one ok? Ge model . Led light trips offshore product in garage that tripped 2 breakers sympathetic , back to original ok? You get the idea! And more. The 2 pole are now problematic on 2 different panel areas but no trips on the singles afci or dual function. What’s notable is that this 2 pole version is no longer made after 8 -10 years manufacture run. Mentioned on holt forums. Hmmm ,imo suggest sticking to single breaker circuits if possible. Maybe some more beta testing required, not.!Finally, installed and circuits checked by qualified sparky. One circuit was homerun to plug only, so easy to check everything. Conclusion Ordinary breakers 30 year+ afci 2 pole 5+ afci 1 pole maybe 10+ or more time will tell. Fallen into category of this stuff not quite ready for prime time yet and getting pricey. With that said sq d Qo is still one of the best of the bunch. Yea I said it, but the 2 pole : update now has failed and nuisance trips year six , sparky tested with temporary 1 pole install that held w no trips. Sooo warranty, well forget bout it, lots of impossible hoops . If you expect any warranty that’s “ life time on breakers” , dream on. Now major revamp required, and your confidence and mine should question this and it’s too bad because they were regarded as top notch . Sad to say but other afci brands fail even more and I’ve seen this. No one should have to deal with these types of issues by mandate, products that should last 15-20 years minimum, not one to five years and then the replace. I get the rant against afci , especially having been involved with 50 year old equipment that you trusted more. Afci does work! But when it don’t y’all in for some schooling.

Now my home is arc fault protected. If you don't have ground wires in your home wiring, the ground fault feature may not work.

This worked great for a remodel that requires AFCI but was on a shared neutral.
