This set comes in a convienient case to keep them together as well as the bits are very sharp so it will keep them from scratching other items.The bits themselves are good quality with strong shafts. They are rugged. They cut multiple holes and disapeate heat well.They cut fast and accurately.There is a helpful little indicator of the size of each step engraved in one of the grooves.The set is a good value for the money.

Please see photos.These are a better design than *nibits for step drills and have multiple purposes. The intent is to use them on wood, metal and some plastics to make a custom size hole that's clean and properlysized.I liked that they came in a nice case and that it has a slide "lock" to keep them all together.Recommended for project folks.

this set of step bits comes in three sizes and in a very nice case. they are very sharp. they are very well made and are by far the best step up bits I have ever used and am impressed by them

I love that this set comes with a handy case to keep everything organized and protected because I'm not the most organized person. I also like the hex shank so I don't need to mess with a drill chuck. The bits are sharp and appear to be high quality and sturdy. As you can probably tell from the sawdust in my attached photo, I used the 3/16"-7/8" bit and a piece of 2x wood and the bit easily chewed right through it while the fluted design helped clear the wood chips easily. I'm looking forward to using these bits in my garage and home projects.
