Exact replacement in every dimension to my 55-year old home's latching garage door rail (the "points" had completely worn down over the years, meaning that the garage door couldn't latch onto it, anymore, making the garage easily accessible to thieves, had they come by and tried to open the garage door). You will need bolts for this, which depend on what you currently have, so, I can't recommend anything specific (i.e., different garage rails (where this plate attaches) have different bolt head-height requirements, though most will work with recessed/flush bolts; my rail allows up to 1/4" inch depth for the 7/16" hex bolt I used (no washer on the "inside" (see photo), but I did use one on the "outside" with the nut), which was a little more difficult to attach than a flush bolt, but, it's far more secure). As an aside, my ancient garage rail only allowed one of the two "middle" holes to be used, but, since it fits perfectly into the rail, it shouldn't be an issue; the same was true of the original striker plate. Had it been an issue, I could have drilled another hole or found some other way to secure the plate to the rail.
