Cat litter can be pretty fine, and I was looking for something that worked a bit better than my slotted sifter. Unfortunately, this was not it. I rarely use it.

Never thought I'd be so excited for a litter scooper. This is WAY better then traditional scoopers. It gets every little bit of mess, I don't have anything left in their litter boxes that isn't litter. The metal edge on top helps scrap anything stuck to the bottom of the litter box. The only down side is you do have to wash it semi regularly, but I think that goes for any litter scooper.

This scoop is pretty effective scooping up the litter quickly and easily. The wire mesh really helps some of the clumps from breaking up and falling back into the box and still lets the sand blow back into the box. The cornered edges make it easy to get into the tight spaces and overall does a good job of getting as much of the litter as possible. The only downside is the litter likes to stick to the mesh more than my last plastic one. But over all this is a good reliable scooper for your little kitty.

I'm gonna be real I bought this for the price for my gerbils and not a cat and the size was a little different then of the heels but it's made for a cat so I can't really complain. It's super good at sifting out most and gets all the wood chips out and the sand easily goes through. I don't have to shake it. Very good for the price and it's size.

We had a plastic litter box scooper. We have two cats and one is very fat and the fat one works that litter box! Clumping litter has a way to clump too well and can make a rather large and heavy clump. The plastic scooper broke trying to lift out the heavy clumps. However, this scooper seems much stronger and the good litter falls through the openings as designed. Seems to be well made and should stand up to our wrecked litter box.
