The Tachometer Cover is a nice addition to my Mini Cooper R56. It was super easy to install and looks great.The product information checking whether it fits my car is not correct -this item DOES fit a 2012 (R56) Mini Cooper hatchback.

This is the cutest little mod to add to your Mini! It came with lots of adhesion stickers, which even had a tab at the end to easily expose the second sticky side when you’re ready to apply. It’s a nice little detail, which makes installation so much easier! If you read the product description, it says that it is not scratched when it arrives, but to peel off the outer plastic, protective layer. This is true, it does look scratched, but it’s not - just peel off the outer plastic. Mine was more difficult to install because I also have a phone holder attached to the back of the tachometer. This checkered piece does not include the screw holes which would line up on the back of the tachometer where the phone holder attaches. Therefore, my husband and I chalked the outline of the screw holes, then pressed this checkered piece up against the tachometer, effectively marking the placement of the screw holes on the inside of the checkered piece. There are small, rubber pieces that fit inside the inset tachometer screw holes in order to effectively hold the phone holder in place, so we had to mark the placement of those as well, on the inside of the space that we had already marked. Then my husband drilled the holes in the plastic, checkered tachometer cover, so that we could still attach the phone holder. It ended up being a lot of work for us - BECAUSE of the phone holder. Without the phone holder, this would have been much, much, much easier. In the end it all worked out. It looks great, you can’t tell that it’s just a plastic cover, and it makes me smile when I look at it! Overall win!!

I thought these would be a cute additional to my car in fact it was it just wasn't the best quality. Adhesive tape wasn't enough and the plastic melted. I was glad I was able to return it and get my refund.

1st of all, it’s be cool if they put a piece of tape on the box it comes in. The adhesive tape is a JOKE, so buy some decent tape. . Cover feels super flimsy. Fits ok though. I think it’s worth MAYBE $10. Probably won’t buy too many other products from these guys, I don’t mind paying more for quality. This stuff is just kinda cheap.🤷🏽 Also if you get the Union Jack, you barely see anything but the top vertical stripe when it’s in place on your tach. I guess all in all it’s ok, but again, for what you get, I think it shouldn’t cost more than $10.
