These weigh 7 pounds each. Almost 3” diameter hole that will drop over a trailer ball if needed. Well made and well thought out design. This is the block you want to buy.

Failed on first time use broke in 4 pieces , unfortunately I didn’t use it until after return date expiration, I would not recommend using this on anything heavy , light duty use only , even then stand clear

First time I used this I noticed while winching a log onto a trailer that one of the snap rings that holds the block together was gone. Could have been a fiasco if it had come apart under a heavy load and someone was nearby but luckily nothing came of it. Went to a local store by get another snap ring but completely different design so I 'm returning this one and will try another one. The groove the ring sits in looks like it should be deeper to keep the ring in place better. Like the oversized hole(s) for easy chain use and like it enough to give it another try.

So far the quality seems to be great. I injected some synthetic grease through the included fitting and the sheave turns freely under load. I've only used this to pull some shrubs out of the front yard and for a double line pull to pre-tension the winch line. The sheave pulley is nice and smooth so it should be fine for my synthetic rope. I recently got one of the TGL recovery straps and was very pleased with the quality so I decided to give this a try. I'm not disappointed.

I've seen youtube videos and form posts of low quality snatch blocks blowing apart so I was concerned going with such a low priced snatch block. This TGL snatch block is greasable and will require you to have a grease gun before your first use as it doesn't ship greased. This shouldn't be a big deal because most people buying offroad recovery equipment should already have one.So far I've used this snatch black 3 or 4 times pulling out my Jeep. It makes redirecting pulls a breeze and when you're really stuck it's great for doubling the pulling power of your winch. I also like to use it when I don't want to spool out a lot of rope and don't want to potentially strain my winch with multiple wraps on the drum.I also have a couple TGL d-ring shackles, and a TGL tree saver that I use with this block and they've been great through the abuse they've endured.

Works flawlessly, very smooth operation. Good strong coating. Used with a 15,500 winch 3 times on multi Ton loads. Worked like a Champ!!I highly recommend!(Update): Bought a second one. Very good equipment, very low price.

Works great for pulling firewood logs out. Heaviest logs are only in the 1500-2000lb range. Factor in bouncing off stumps, rocks, into road edges maybe pulling 3000lb. Grease fitting is critical for me and it really helps the pulley wheel. Not the best built but built well enough. A little large in size but not as heavy as others. Little big for having a couple in your tool box just because but work perfect for throwing in and using when needed. I have not had any issues yet...ordering another.

Appears to be very well built. YOU MUST GREASE THE BEARING UPON FIRST PURCHASE!!!! With that out of the way the block is very sturdy and is very confidence inspiring. Used it to tighten my winch line pulling my truck up a hill. Impressed and has a higher WLL than others by 2000 lbs. Will most likely be buying another.
