These clips made it easier for my wife to hem some curtains she was altering. They worked very well. Since they also had measurements on them, they made it easier to make sure the length of the hemline was correct.

Making face masks make it easier when I'm taking the mask from one flate piece material to ironing to sewing with out dealing w pins that are painful. It makes the job so easy &pain free.

I’m using these clips to hold curtain hems in place. I’m not a fan of seeing so I’m making the curtains shorter by way of an iron and some hem tape. Hmm... while these clips seem like a great and useful tool they are sharp and will very easily snag the fabric if I’m not extremely careful when putting them on or taking them off. I have used them with several sheers and some thicker blackout curtain fabric. Yes, they do their job, but at what cost? Well, I’ve snagged 4 of the 12 panels so far and I was being as careful as I could. I’ve nearly sliced my fingers while doing this household project - surprisingly haven’t drawn any blood yet but the potential is there.I’m going to continue to use them in lieu of tedious pinning with straight pins, but I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. The quality is pretty low. The numbers are faint and difficult to read (and I don’t have age related sight problems to blame). And forget about centimeters... these clips only show quarters of an inch. Save your money and go for better quality!

Great concept, but they tend to bend open and stay that way as you use them. pins are still faster for machine work. would be best for hand sewing.

These clips are great and are heavy, well constructed, and easy to use. The construction is substantial and allows them to remain on the fabric or item you are sewing. No issues with them at all and you cant go wrong choosing this particular make/brand/choice.
