It's an OK Tie dye kit. We are starting to dye professionally.The dye was hard to mix in the bottles. If you look at the picture, you can see dark flecks in the red. So make sure you mix well.The colors came out of the dryer a few shades lighter than planned. I think of these as more "Easter egg" colors. Somewhat pastel. Not bad, but What I was expecting to be a more mature dark violet came out a lovely mid purple.The colors... Decent mix, but it came out short on some colors like yellow while we had blue for days. Bottles were disposable quality. Good enough.It's a great kid for families and kids to have a fun day Tie Dyeing, but if you want professional results, you are going to need to use professional dyes.

My daughter recently had a tie dye party for her young sons and their cousins and they turned out several tank and T-shirts. The results are vibrant and playful. The dyes tubes are easy to use and they go a long way. The moms decided that they will do this every Spring and these shirts will be their kids' summer wardrobe - much easier than shopping for kids clothes. And you can tie dye a shirt to go with any pair of shorts or outfit. Very versatile and economical.

My job is planning and executing events for the community. I decided to do a tie dye event this past July and needed something all inclusive and easy to use. This kit was it! Set up was super easy - just add water to the bottles and shake. The dyes were all super vibrant and very pretty colors. The instruction sheet was easy to follow. My only wish is that they had included more than one copy of the instruction sheet since it got pretty messy with everyone grabbing it with their dye-covered gloves.Would 100% buy this product again for this type of event.We had about 20 people come through and many had more than one shirt. There was plenty of dye for everyone - we only ran out of one or two colors before the event ended.

I’ve ordered this kit before, good bang for your buck. Unfortunately this time 2 bottles were not closed properly so all the bottles were coated with the contents of 2 dyes. What a mess. Otherwise I’d recommend this kit.

I bought this kit to tie dye t-shirts during a camp trip for 25 adults. It was alot of fun.Since there were several of us we made an assembly line of the various steps so that we were all experiencing steps together. Definitely wear gloves when you do this and do be careful not to pop the little dye caps off over the table. Several of us had the misfortune to have another person splash their dye color onto our project when they uncapped over the table. Also be sure to wipe the table surface clean after each project so that your shirt doesnt pick up unwanted residual color from a previous project.It seemed as the Tshirts dried, the colors were less vibrant. For myself, I wanted to be sure to see the blaxk printed words on the Tshirt I dyed, so the fact that they got lighter as they dried, was ok by me.We planned to do this on a Friday morning to that the shirts could set and we could rinse them out on Saturday morning and hang to dry before we left the campground on Sunday.Be sure to save your gloves and wear them when you remove the rubber bands and rinse the shirt on the following day.Each shirt's unwrapping and reveal was a grand surprise every time. It was an explosion of color, patterns and designs. I would definitely do this again!PS - purple, turquoise, lime green, hot pink were popular colors that ran out first. Good thing there wwre a couple bottles of this color in the kit!
