so at first glance, I love it! but I'm wondering how well it will scoop in chicken coop and run due to the fact that there's no concave bowl shape to it. It's sturdy, nice width to the working end, and they included a set of garden gloves! that was a nice surprise.I'll give it a try and update this review very soon, stay tuned.

Always wanted a long scoop shovel for my chicken coop but never wanted to pay the high price tag. This is a good option maybe not as durable and strong as some, so don’t overdo it but does the job and makes it much easier.

All you have to do is twist the pieces together and it's ready for use! The handle is lightweight but still feels durable for regular use. The scoop is also lightweight but made of metal and feels durable enough for its task. It is a little shorter at its full length than a standard horse manure scoop, but you have to bend down anyways so it doesn't make much of a difference. I like that you can take out pieces to make it the length that you want. The shovel part is smaller also, understandably. I bought this as a chicken pooper scooper, but I like the idea of it being a cat scooper. I just might save one in the back of my shed for when I get a cat. It would likely scoop most everything out in one go, and then I'd use the smaller one to get in the corners and get any other smaller waste out. As for chickens, it's large enough to scoop up the hay or bedding around it and hold it until you get to the compost pile or wheelbarrow.
