This is a good, basic MOSFET that will save trigger contacts of your AEG's when using 11.1V lipos. Installation is easy as I'm only using the MOSFET part, not the trigger wiring. Wires are 16AWG. I have been running 11.1V 60C batteries through it with no issues. Good and inexpensive option compared to Gate or Perun.

I can't really find anything to complain about. It works. Your installation may require some tweaks or clever thinking, but it works just fine with an older Tokyo Marui XM177E2 model. It's a clear increase in ROF and reaction time in this case. The instructions that come with it are pretty good and if you've at all semi familiar with wiring things and/or with airsoft guts you'll get it pretty easily. The pass through disconnect is a really nice touch and the wire size is quite large bordering on sizeable cable diameter. The length gets you 23.5" and 24.75" for the switch wires, while the motor wires come in at 19.75" and 20.5", as measured from the red plastic of the T-Plug.

No fancy features here like active braking or anything like that, this is just for people looking to protect their trigger contacts and get somewhat better performance by letting the MOSFET deliver power from the battery to the motor instead of having it go across the trigger. The wiring is of a decent thickness and there’s enough length for pretty much any standard AEG, and the instructions should be enough for most people to be able to figure it out. It’s about double the price of a Perun mini and much more expensive than just buying a bare MOSFET from an electronics shop, but you’re getting the convenience of most of the wiring all being taken care of for you, a plus if you’re not experienced with electronics work. One complaint, however, is the lack of a fuse. Yes, you could splice one in, but at that point you might as well just be doing the whole install and wiring yourself. Since this comes with a battery connector installed, there really should be a fuse in there.

Excellent high quality mosfet. I got it because I wasn't sure what was in this one gun I had. So I didn't notice an increase in trigger responsiveness or anything, but that's just because when I took it apart it had one of these in it. It's great trigger mosfet and at a reasonable price. 5 Stars.

Note: I would consider myself a novice airsoft gunsmith. I have pulled apart 5 or 6 gearboxes total to change out springs. This was my first attempt to install a MOSFET.I really wish I had the great experience that other reviewers had with this item. I was really excited to try it out, but it did not work.I pulled apart my gearbox, removed the old wiring, and began a painstaking process of putting this wiring in so that the lengths would be right. Then I soldered the wires where the graphic instructions indicated. The picture in the instructions was not clear enough to indicate where the connections should be made but I was able to common sense it from where the previous wiring had been, which could possibly be where I went wrong. Once I got everything connected, I reassembled the gun very excited to use it, but the moment I plugged in the battery, the gun began firing on full auto. The fire selector made no difference whether on safe, semi, or auto, the gun just fired away at full speed.I pulled it completely apart again and tried soldering the mosfet wires opposite, but the same thing happened again. I tried soldering them together, same thing happened. There are no other combinations I could have tried in order to make it work, it’s as if the MOSFET simply was not even there at all.It was so time consuming doing this, that the fact that it did not work is really disappointing.Could it be user error? Defective MOSFET? Unfortunately I don’t have the means to determine which. If it was user error, then I simply needed clearer instructions than I was given.
