These storage bins are exactly as pictured! I love the retro/industrial look they have to them, that gives put together but not polished. They took some elbow grease to assemble the screws into the sides but still easy enough to do, especially with a second person to help with steadying those first two pieces.While they will not stack on top of one another with records in them (that is clear from the picture, though), they do stack onto each other. They do work well for keeping the current vinyl options easy to flip through to pick your next selection.We are using them for storage of other items in our living room currently, so the stacking works well for us. I would prefer the bottom to be made from something closer to what the sides are made from for the price point, they do work well. I wouldn't recommend trying to lug heavy loads around in these a lot, but I didn't intend them for that anyway.I would recommend these and would order again. We are getting ready to build shelves around our fireplace and I think these will work great for storage on the lower shelves. I am excited to have these and really do love the look.

These are very nice wooden vinyl record storage crates. There are 2 in this set. They arrive unassembled, but they are pretty quick and easy to assemble. It helps to have 2 people for assembly. The necessary screws and Allen wrench are included. They are stained very nicely and there are no rough edges or splintering. I have some old vinyl records that never had a "home," but now they do. These crates are stackable, but not stackable with records in the lower crate. When stacked, they fit well together. The open handles make it very easy to lift and carry the crates. Overall, these are very nice and well-made vinyl record storage crates that function very well and definitely serve their purpose. They will hold up to 90 vinyl records in each crate. I recommend these.

These are not cheap, but boy, are they STURDY! They only stack if what you put in them doesn't stick out on top (which a vinyl record will) so beware of that. But I filled the bottom with fairly heavy serving pieces, and then stacked the top one and filled it with VERY heavy liquor bottles. They look great and it was a very practical storage solution for us at that price point. The frame is amazingly strong and the bottom is surprisingly strong. Some assembly is required but the result is really worth it!

I tried to set this up and install it. It's 5 pieces, right? It should be easy. Nope. I don't know how they want things to line up, but it doesn't.

I did not expect for a minute that the Pack of 2 Vinyl Record Storage Crate, Stackable LP Record Display Shelf, Heavy Duty Wood Organizer Box for Records would be gorgeous at this price point.They were heavier than expected when I picked up the box they were sent in. I was not expecting that at all.I won't be using these for records (in fact, I currently have no idea WHAT I will use them for), but I am happy I have them regardless of their future function.Assembly wasn't difficult at all. The instructions were thorough, but you may not even need them. The only think I wished I had was another person to hold the sides up for me while I was screwing in the screws.They sort of have a farmhouse or industrial feel to them. They don't really go with my decor, but I don't really care. I love them!They stack on top of each other, but they don't "lock" into place. They can still slide around without too much effort.In case you couldn't already tell, I love these!

This review is for the Pack of 2 Vinyl Record Storage Crate, Stackable LP Record Display Shelf, Heavy Duty Wood Organizer Box for Records Collector.Ordered a set to move my records from old milk crates to these good-looking ones. These crates are easy to assemble and come with very clear instructions on how to do it. They can hold dozens of records, are stackable and feel premium. You can also use them to store toys, photo albums and other things you can't find the space to store. The price might deter some people from buying (thus, the one-star deduction) but if you decide to buy, you'll be getting well-built crates that should last for a long time.They are bigger than what they look in the pictures and their brown color will mix with any decor you have at home. If you are looking to get rid of the milk crates you've been using to hold stuff too, these are a very good choice if you don't mind the price.

These stackable crates were easy enough to assemble and they look good and blend in with the other faux wood items that we have in our storage closet. They are decently sized and they hold a good amount of things, but they don't fit vinyl records very well. Based on the description I was not expecting my vinyl records to be too tall to be stored in these crates other than on a top layer, so they will not be able to be stacked on top of each other once filled up with heavy records. That is not ideal at all in my opinion, and these crates need to be made taller to accommodate that issue or they should not advertise them for storing vinyl records in. My other issue is that the bottom part is made from different and much thinner wood-like pieces than the four sides are, and the bottom is put together using two smaller pieces that are joined by a plastic part. Not as strong and sturdy feeling as I would prefer them to be because of that split bottom design. If the bottom part was reinforced or made better and they could actually be stacked together when filled up with vinyl records then I think they would be a better value and quality.
