This regulator/rectifier is well constructed and I like that it has a tachometer output.Can be used on anything! I'll be using this on an older snowmobile.

If you have an older “80”s and before outboard you probably don’t know it’s pumping 16+ volts with the old rectifier, or should we say electronics fryer.. this $10 regulator replaces it and now I’m 13.5 volts.. I put this on an 76” evinrude 85 by changing the ends of the wiring to loops, work on any brand.

At first were great, 2 hours running tach is sporadic, then voltage starts jumping around. It's a cheap price because they are junk! get what ya pay for.
