The voltage regulator looked good, plugs looked the same and wires were pinned correctly. When plugged in the connectors would not latch together. The sled would do nothing. Electric start would not engage, dash would not light up, nothing. Don't waste your time and money on this cheap crap from China, go OEM.

The internals of this voltage regulator is wired improperly. It will charge your system it will work. But you cannot hook up the Single white and violet wire for the recoil wake up. If you do your unit will wake up and never go to sleep. So you have to leave it disconnected and wake it up by pushing your RER button. But once the stater produces powproduce this power. White violet is live until the voltage regulator is disconnected from circuit. I guess for the price versus OEM makes it a okay To give up that auto wake up feature. Still, the public should be informed because it cost me hours in time ordering multiple regulators. Just to come up with my own work around.
