Bought this cable and the 1st day of putting it on the truck the rubber piece melted to the cable which caused the cable to break because it couldn't move inside the tube like it is suppose to when switching between gears.

These do the job ok, but beware the insulation is not sufficient to keep the plastic from melting if it gets to close to the exhaust manifold.
