The camera itself works ok, the microphone could be better but mine is so loose that the camera won’t stay in place me I have to tape it in the position I want it in

Great little webcam with a good value, I use it for my graduate school exams. The stand allows you to place it at the edge of a desk to record you if necessary. The image quality isn't the greatest but it is more than sufficient for my needs or other fellow test takers. Just make sure the lighting is good in your area.

This webcam gets the job done when you really need it, it's an easy plug and play camera and it offers some pretty decent quality for the price! If you need a webcam but don't want to break the bank I definitely would recommend this, one thing to note is that the wiring at least on mine; is loose, it kind of feels like maybe it's not secure to the internals but it makes it feel cheaply made, but hey thats why it's a cheap webcam in the first place, you get what you pay for, it gets the job done and it can last a long while if you take great care of it

I just opened and installed this before a meeting I had. That process was pretty easy, only took about few minutes. Picture quality is good, focused naturally at the monitor range. The "ring" light is noticeably making a difference, even though subtle in my lighting. Reduced my shadows from window light.The one tech flaw: it was described as having an LED that indicates the camera is on or off. That did not come on for me, but the ring light did give a softer glow indicating it was on, so that lets you know, but that LED didn't work.I have a separate, good mic for my online meetings. On my first couple of calls immediately after install, no one complained about my audio, but I didn't catch it until after that it had switched to the camera's mic, so I have to say it must have done a decent job there. Easy settings change in my app to get sound back to my regular mic.Overall, I'm happy with the camera purchase, and it not being expensively priced. I just wanted something better than the laptop integrated one, and better than an older model "activity camera for when you're on the go" I was using as a webcam. Early into the ownership so hoping it lasts and keeps performing well. Took away 1 star because it didn't technically function as it said it would.

The camera came in packaged very well in a tiny box. It had a paper manual, a bag with the lens privacy cover piece, tripod, and camera. I immediately plugged it into my PC via the USB cable and opened the base of the camera to hook it onto my monitor. It was easy and stuck because the base is lined with a lot of rubber. I opened the camera app on my PC and it worked instantly. Normally I get a connection error because I do not have a camera built into my monitor. The image was crisp and white, and showed a pretty good view of my whole room without a fish eye appearance. It was very clear and I did not share a picture of the image quality due to the fact that it was so good it caught all my blemishes haha. Very unexpected. The audio honestly isn't the best, as it sounds slightly muffled during playback, but that may be due to my monitor's stereos; I don't know. The auto focus worked really well when I turned off the lights; the square tried to follow my face the entire time and during daylight the auto focus square is nonexistent.The 3 light settings on the ring light are awesome in the dark and aren't even needed during the daytime really. In the dark they're good enough to really light up my keyboard and my face and each setting is noticeably brighter than the last. The camera app can be off and the lights will still work in case that was a concern or interest for anyone. The privacy shutter is an individual piece with 3M tape on the back. You must peel off the protective layer and align it on your camera before sticking it on carefully. After the process is done, the shutter shifts with ease across the lens. The tripod attachment is also super easy to use and sits up well with very little manipulation. The camera is able to turn in many ways and angles, although it must be turned very sharply down at me when attached to my monitor due to the height of my monitor. But I definitely think I'm very pleased with the overall product so far. I'm also a teacher and we do a lot of zooms! An affordable, reliable, and good camera is always handy to have.

Mic doesn't work on Macbook Air. Under System Preferences > Sound > Input. The webcam doesn't even show as a device with mic capabilities.

I bought this for work. It hooks up via USB. No software to download. Plug it in and it works. The speaker picks up sound perfectly and the video is great.I would be lost without this device! This really is the best money I ever spent!!!

I bought 8 of these for my team for Webex/Teams calls. Quality is great (better than most laptop cameras) and they are plug&play. Microphone is decent, although headsets are always better. Tripod is a nice option, and it will sit on top of your monitor.Great purchase, don't hesitate.

It worked well except that it felt a bit flimsy - the security cover you have to stick on by yourself and some of the backings didn’t work very well. So that’s not good where as some of the other ones have a built in cover. The microphone also doesn’t work very well and in other applications it’s hard to actually manage. Use your laptop mic instead of this one.

I was shocked at how easy this was to use. All you do is plug it into USB port on whatever device you're using. Situated the camera where you want it (either on monitor or use tripod). It also comes with a lens cover in case you prefer not to be on camera and can still use the mic. All in all, a great purchase. No regrets!
