These planters fit perfectly over our 2” iron railings. The planter color looks fabulous with black. Blends in very nice. The flowers sit & look amazing in these containers. Very happy with our purchase! We bought four of them. Put two planters at each end of the patio. Looks simply beautiful. Thanks JH

I like that it sits solidly on the railing and that it has 4 spots for plants.

These things are flimsy and structurally sketchy. Not only that, but both of my planters were missing one attachment peg each, rendering them unusable. Accidents happen so I decided to reach out to them via the email address provided in the box and received ZERO RESPONSE. Poor quality for a high price, and abysmal/non-existent customer support. There are better ones on Amazon, I recommend you look around and avoid these. ***Update: After several weeks someone from the company sent me a couple replacement pieces but by then I had already returned the items.

I think they look nice, and mine are not falling apart (at 2 weeks in at least) like other reviewers, but I was surprised to see there were no drainage holes. We drilled 4 drainage holes into one ourselves as a test (I was afraid to do all because I thought it may cause them to start cracking at the drill sites) so far so good though (about a week in). My fault, but I didn't realize that in order to have the planter 'sit' on the railing as it does, it has to be split into two 'sides'.... so plan on planting flowers on two separate sides of the container with a 'dead zone' in the middle. Looks totally fine doing it that way, but I had to go back to the flower store because I didn't get enough flowers to manage that initially. So assuming the drainage holes we put in don't eventually cause the whole thing to crack, I think it is an 'ok' product.

So far these have stayed in place even with some strong winds hitting them. They seem fairly sturdy but I will wait and see how they do during the whole growing season. I do love how they fit the railing on my deck and they look great. For the cost, even if they last one season I think they are worth the purchase.

I have two brands of ridge rail planters and find this one is not very sturdy. Also the inside rail is very high and makes planting in the center difficult. It does fit nice and snug on the rail though.

I love these boxes. They look great and are fairly easy to install. They have adjustable clamps on the bottom that will fit any size rail. I was concerned that the adjustments didn't touch in two places as expected, it only touched one. But the weight of a filled pot was enough to keep it stable. I like the fact that it straddles both sides of the rail. The thickness was a bit thin, but enough. For example, to adjust the fittings on the bottom, I had to hammer a few, and one thud cracked the bottom of the box. But I figure it now had a natural drain hole. But if the crack occurred on the side, that would be a problem. If you need to tap those fittings into place, put a piece of wood inside to absorb the blow. The plastic itself is not strong enough.

I was worried I wouldn't be able to find a window box that would be a tight enough fit on my 2 1/2" deck rail, but these work great. The anchors keep them centered. Even on my 6th floor balcony where it gets super windy, they are secure. I was looking for only one box so I wasn't thrilled to pay the price for a two-pack, but they are so nice I'm glad I have two of them! They are sturdy yet light weight even when filled with soil, and easy to remove/put back on the rail if I need to bring my plants in to avoid frost. And did I mention -- they look great!

The plastic used for these flower pots is very flimsy which is concerning given they are meant to hold a heavy weight of soil on a balcony railing. The plastic pins meant to hold the pots securely on the railing are also very light weight.

After a lot of searching, this planter was exactly what I was looking for. Sturdy plastic, really nice deep brown color, and fits on my railing perfectly. I like that the pre-marked drain holes took about 2 seconds to quickly drill through. The braces fit securely in the underside and hold it steady on either side (my railing has a glass wall underneath it that encloses the balcony). It's roomy inside, I have 6 ornamental grasses planted in each, 3 on each side of each container. If I had been planting smaller bunches of flowers I could have fit a lot more than that. I'd definitely recommend and buy more of these.
