It is bulkier than a Starrett but good for the cost. I use it to measure curved metal products.

This was shipped quickly - in 2 business days. Micrometer is sturdy and well-built. Used it to get minimum thickness measurements of corroded steel. The points are very sharp and made of hardened steel which broke through the rust to get a measurement on the good steel.
