Impeller is a fine replacement for 09-1028-b applications and others. Just be aware, it is not a reasonable replacement for Johnson 09-1028-BT or Yanmar 123325-42021 as it does not have the threaded end. The "-BT" indicates a threaded end impeller that can use the Johnson 09-47165-01 impeller removal tool. This is very important on some obstructed pump installations, especially on Yanmar engines.
