For me, it was easier to hit steel punches straight on with, than with the typical nylon round leather workers mallet. Power concentrated to really drive through heavy stock. Quieter and recommended to not round over the punches or leather cutters heads. An experiment that was very successful and cost effective..

Just what i was looking for....won't mar my steel jewelry making tools. Nice weight for stamping and general hammering without making dings in your bench block or anvil.

Could use improvements. Hammerhead appears quickly carved. It needs a little shaping and finishing. Also, business end of hammer has slight defect. For the price, I expect better quality.
